Hey team, got an alert that FileVault is off on my MacBook. Can you help me turn it back on? I'm in a meeting right now but have 10 min after.

No problem Jim — I've pushed a remediation profile via MDM. You'll see a prompt to enable FileVault in about 60 seconds. It'll ask for your login password and show a recovery key popup. Stash that key in 1Password (or text it to yourself; we'll also have it server-side).
Estimated time: 2 minutes. Your Mac will encrypt in the background after that, no restart needed.

Got the prompt, entered password, copied the recovery key. It says 'Encrypting...' now. Can I close my laptop?

Yep, safe to close. Encryption continues in the background and the Mac will sleep normally. I'll verify it completed in about an hour and close this ticket when I confirm.
